One person's junk is a local, historic treasure.

At OotnoO we try to recycle and redirect as many materials as possible, recycling over 90%. We like to be a kinder company and know that along with sorting our plastics, woods and so on; many projects and organisations could benefit from things other clearance companies might take straight to landfill.

Which is why we were thrilled to find a collection of programmes ranging from the very first Edinburgh Festival in 1947 all the way through to the 80's and a myriad of SSA and arts brochures.

It was our pleasure to give these all new homes where they'd be valued and safe from ever being destroyed.

We took these programmes shown here, from the 1950s, back to their rightful home at the King's Theatre in Edinburgh, who were delighted to have them back. We hope they will be on display at the theatre for many years to come.

OotnoO is economical, community friendly and eco-friendly too. If you know of any project or persons that might benefit from used furniture or materials, ask them to get in touch.
