Ootnoo is a community-focused company who are committed to a kinder approach to waste management that benefits everyone.

Our core value is to be kind to customers, communities and the environment.​ We collect all sorts and sort it all out, donating reusable things to local projects & charities and sorting all materials for best practice recycling.
Our story
Ootnoo began in 2017 with a mission to create a kinder junk removal service - managing waste in a community-engaged and economical way - better for everyone and our environment all round.

Ootnoo has firm knowledge of Scotland and its wee nooks and crannies, with notable experience in clearance work during flooding in the Scottish Borders and in Deeside and some of Edinburgh's most high profile events.
We now work with lots of businesses, charities and residents - we value our customers, our work and will always be kind with our prices and recycling choices.

Ootnoo is part of Zero Waste Leith, a network of businesses, charities and organisations committed to a circular economy.
Community friendly
Recycling is always the priority so we can give customers free recycling tips and advice.
We can also help shift things about and lend an extra hand.
How we roll
We sort, store and separate items and raw materials so as little as possible goes to landfill. We use specialist commercial sites for waste and recycling, so nothing is wasted.
