Ootnoo operates as a low‑profit, community‑driven business, meaning our priority is social and environmental benefit. Every collection is sorted, separated, and consolidated so materials like wood, glass, metals, plasterboard, textiles, and cardboard can be recycled properly.

Reusable items are passed on through our network of local non‑profits, community groups, and reuse projects, helping support people and organisations across Scotland and beyond - even as far as Gambia, West Africa.

We believe in a kinder approach to waste that reduces landfill, lowers costs, and keeps our pricing fair for customers.

Responsible & Compliant

We are a registered SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency) waste carrier, ensuring all waste is handled legally, safely, and with full traceability.

  • You can pay by cash, cheque, card or bank transfer.

    Invoices are paper-free and sent by email, along with WTNS and consignment notes for commercial and hazardous waste.

    We charge £25 per cubic yard up to 50 kg per cube, plus call out of up to £50. Our prices our cheaper because we sort and separate all materials/items for recycling and donate where possible to projects and non-profits.
